African elephant
Characteristics of an African elephant
An African elephant has large ears that are shaped like
the continent of Africa. Both male African elephants
and female African elephants have visible tusks. The skin
of African elephants is very wrinkly. The backs
of African elephants are swayed. The end of the trunks of
African elephants are as if they have 2 fingers. These 2
finger-like end of their trunks help them pick things up.
Although Asian elephants only have 1 finger, they are also good
at picking things up.
